A ‘virtual concert experience’ featuring singer Post Malone will be hosted by The Pokémon Company on February 27, celebrating the game series’ 25th anniversary.
The concert will be free to watch from both the official Pokémon YouTube channel as well as their Twitch channel at 7:00 p.m. EST, which The Pokémon Company has branded ‘Pokémon Day.’
“I’ve been a Pokémon fan for a long time, so the opportunity to headline the Pokémon Day concert celebrating 25 years is awesome,” said Malone in a statement after the Pokémon Company released a short trailer for the concert.
At the end of the preview, Post Malone morphs into a digital avatar hinting that the singer will likely be performing alongside Pokémon in the upcoming event.
