A Malaysian-based company is launching the world’s first gaming-themed peanut butter line. Jobbie Nut Butter has partnered with Taiwanese hardware company Zotac to create a new line of snacks marketed towards gamers.
The first flavor in the line, appropriately titled “Pong- Berry Matrix Peanut Energy Crunch” is named after Pong one of the first-ever video games.
The flavor is described as a “super-rich thick peanut mousse made from dry roasted peanuts, followed by slightly sweet and sour chopped up freeze-dried blueberries and strawberries,” according to the companies website.”The freeze-dried fruits provide more crunch (as the moisture has been completely extracted) than a bowl of freshly made popcorn, making it the perfect snack in-between games.”
The snack is meant to be eaten directly from a spoon, rather than spread onto something else, making it easy to eat while multitasking.
According to the Jobbie Nut Butter site, the company mainly delivers to Malaysia and Singapore as well as Scotland, England, South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan though it is possible to order special shipments elsewhere in the world.
