‘Kingdom Hearts 4’ Returns With Sora – And New Character Strelitzia

Kingdom Hearts 4 is back.

The story arc will feature the iconic character Sora and will introduce a new character, Strelitzia. She was previously killed off in Kingdom Hearts Unchained Xand some fans speculate that the game could take place in some sort of afterlife. The reveal trailer also shows a large, realistic-looking city called Quadratum, which is also telling about the storyline because the city has always been known as a fictional city within the Kingdom of Hearts world.

“We’ve been honored to work with Tetsuya Nomura and his team for two decades to introduce these original stories of discovery, courage, and friendship,” said Walt Disney Games director Nana Gadd. “This glimpse into Sora’s next adventure is just the beginning — we can’t wait to show more when the time is right.”

Kingdom Hearts 3 was released back in 2019. The series, known for its complex storylines and many spinoffs, made an effort to tie all of them back in.

Kingdom Hearts developer Square Enix has not yet announced a release date.
