Leaked ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops’ Cover Shows That Next Game Might Take Place During The Cold War

Call of Duty: Black Ops is one of the most popular gaming franchises in history with millions upon millions of people playing games from the series since it first released in 2010. Despite the global pandemic, it appears that the 2020 edition of the game will release on time . And thanks to a leak, players might know the title of the game, as well as the time period it takes place in.

According to @Okami13_ on Twitter, who released a picture of the possible cover for the newest Call of Duty: Black Ops, the next edition of the game will be titled Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and if you haven’t guessed, the game will take place in the Cold War.

You should take this leak with a grain of salt.  Who knows what the credibility of this Twitter user is? But if they are right, it should have players excited as they Activision could bring back the single player campaign, something that has been long missing from recent Black Ops games.

Now players will have to wait and see if Activision confirms the rumors. No release date has been announced for the next Call of Duty: Black Ops game.
