One of Marvel’s most popular characters has finally made his way into the Marvel Rivals universe. New character Deadpool is here for availability and is classified as a triple-role hero. He’s able to be played as a Duelist, Strategist or Vanguard. His abilities and movement heavily replicate how he is in the comics.
Deadpool’s gameplay depends on whether you use him as a Duelist, Strategist or Vanguard. As a Duelist, Deadpool uses his dual katanas and pistols to attack his opponents. He can also throw one of his katanas at an opponent in a boomerang fashion. As for his role as a strategist, Deadpool can heal teammates by hitting them with his atanas or by shooting them. When played as a Vanguard, Deadpool can deploy a shield that can trap the other team and lower their health. It’s crucial to note that only one version of Deadpool can be played at a time.
Deadpool’s kit can be described as intelligent and hostile. Alongside dealing damage to opponents, Deadpool can taunt corpses, which unlocks permanent mid-match upgrades. He has a double-jump ability with a cooldown of three seconds. Jumping on an enemy’s head will reset the cooldown. Deadpool can also bounce off of enemies in a pinball-like fashion.
Deadpool is a part of Marvel Rivals Season 6: Night at the Museum. The new Museum of Contemplation map dropped on January 29. Hero proficiency is getting an upgrade, including tiers that are being changed to reward the hero with in-game currency and character avatars.
All in all, Deadpool can be classified as a high-skill, high-personality character. He achieves success through his creativity, chaos, and relentless aggression in the current Marvel Rivals meta. Whether used as a Duelist, Strategist, or Vanguard, Deadpool will become a heavily popular character moving forward.
