Minecraft has passed another milestone as it recently became the first-ever video game to pass a trillion views on YouTube.
The official Minecraft YouTube channel celebrated the achievement with a celebratory video, celebrating the community that has popped up around the game.
YouTube also celebrated the occasion by creating a website to showcase the history of Minecraft on the platform and showcasing the most popular Minecraft YouTubers every year since the game was released.
Originally released in 2011 by indie studio Mojang, the game has gone on to become a cultural phenomenon, and one of the highest-grossing video games of all time. The title has also spawned several spin-off video game releases, as well as merchandise.
