Short Film Festival To Be Hosted In ‘Fortnite’

Epic Games has used their hit-game Fortnite for a multitude of non-gaming events, but next week’s event boasts a new peak for the company’s creativity. On Fortnite’s Royale Island in their battle-free party royale mode Epic Games will be hosting a short film festival.

Players can also watch the films while in the game’s standard battle royale mode, but risk having their attention split between building forts and watching movies.

Here’s the list of movies you can expect:

  • Bench
  • Makin’ Moves
  • Rollin’ Wild
  • Car Park
  • Maestro
  • Oktapodi
  • A Single Life
  • Catastrophe
  • Commuter Glitch
  • Creature Comforts
  • Lynx & Birds

The unprecedented event will begin on February 20 at 2 p.m. EST. Epic confirms that the full docket of films will last about 30 minutes. The festival, however, will be continually rebroadcast for the next 24 hours.
