Tim Sweeney, Founder Of Epic Games, Will Continue Supporting ‘Fortnite’ On Nvida GeForce

Tim Sweeney, the CEO of Fortnite, has thrown all of his support into the GeForce Now Cloud Streaming Service. His support comes after gaming studios such as Bethesda, Activision Blizzard and 2k have all pulled out of their collaborating efforts with Nvida. Sweeney voiced his opinion on his personal Twitter account.

Nvida Geforce specializes in making computer graphics chips. The company branched out into the world of streaming after realizing that companies like Google and Apple are overcharging companies to use their streaming services. Sweeney believes that these companies will lead to their own demise, since neither Apple or Google is willing to work with the other company.

Sweeney went on to praise the new streaming service, “It’s the most developer-friendly and publisher-friendly of the major streaming services, with zero tax on game revenue. Game companies who want to move the game industry towards a healthier state for everyone should be supporting this kind of service!”

Companies like 2k and Bethesda cut their collaborations with the company over licensing agreements. This means that games like Elder Scrolls, Bioshock, 2k Basketball and Overwatch will be unavailable for users of the streaming service.
