Watch: Detroit Lions Use ‘Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ To Announce Its 2020 Schedule

With the NFL season schedule being released Thursday night, teams had the ability for the first time to show off their 2020 Regular Season schedule to their fans. Some teams used a simple post on social media to let their fans know. Others took a different, and more creative approach.

The Detroit Lions worked in cooperation with Animal Crossing: New Horizons to let their fans know when each of their games will be played.

In a seven-minute video they posted on Twitter where a character dressed in all Lions gear took jabs at the team’s various opponents for the 2020 season.

Detroit will open its season on September 13 against the Chicago Bears.
