‘Wuchang: Fallen Feathers’ Offers Escape Into Fantasy-Filled World

East Asian games continue to permeate the gamer sphere this year, and the release of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers later this year will only further that trend. This rise in East Asian games is not surprising in the least. Wukong continues to dominate the minds of fans.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers promises a great storyline about the late Ming Dynasty. It stars Bai Wuchang, a female pirate suffering from Feathering. As the trailer shows, she’s progressing in her illness as she fights back. After all, who doesn’t want to escape into a fantasy-filled, reimagined world?

The late Ming Dynasty is suffering from Feathering, and our heroine can’t recall anything about herself. The disease causes mutations. You’re the investigator, and this is your quest.

Harvest your oncoming skills from enemies you defeat and fight your way through maps, but do be mindful of how much you die, as there’s a mechanic that spawns your inner demon to haunt you where you last died. The overall appearance is a downward corruption arc for the heroine as she advances in the game.

The graphics are a whole other level of detailed. Each costume and weapon is detailed down to the last pixel. The boss fights are Dark Souls without Dark Souls.

This game is set for release on Xbox, PC and PS5 and is currently wishlist addable on Steam.
