On June 15, Xbox removed seven titles from Xbox Game Pass, a monthly subscription offered by Microsoft that allows access to a library of games.
Since the removal of the games My Time at Sandrock, Keplerth, Depersonalization, Dordogne, Hypnospace Outlaw, Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends and Isonzo, Microsoft already has plans to remove several others from the subscription service.
For its second patch in late June, the following games will no longer be available in the Xbox Game Pass: Arcade Paradise, Journey to the Savage Planet, My Friend Peppa Pig, Robin Hood-Sherwood Builders, Steamworld Dig and Steamworld Dig 2.
While some fans understand the reason for the removals, others have taken to social media to express their discontent with the removals from Game Pass.
After the January removals, a user on the r/xboxgamepass subreddit posted, “So why does Gamepass keep removing a bunch of popular games then dumping these recent coming soon ones on us?” Another user responded with, “Definitely not, ‘mostly great games or popular.’ Always enough games to keep me busy playing something, but most drops would be games I wouldn’t play more than once or twice.”
User on X expressed their excitement for new title drops after Xbox Game Pass posted the Xbox Games Showcase 2025, unbothered by the removals.
One fan commented under the thread, “I’ve got to say this is definitely one of the most diverse group of games I have seen it really hits a scratch for almost every type of gamer,” they continued, “I think this is a big W for Xbox players and game pass ultimate users even the handheld you guys are partnering with seems super cool.”
However, another commenter was not too thrilled with this post, stating, “4/10 showcase. I think handheld is only W. Some good games, but the rest, not very great.”
The official Xbox Game Pass X frequently posts updates on more games that will be coming to the platform.
