The newest installment of Call of Duty was confirmed by Infinity Ward and Activision on Thursday, with an unveiling of the new logo.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II follows up on 2019’s Modern Warfare rather than 2009’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, with the roman numeral II acting as a distinction.
Besides the logo, there was no other information released. Reports are that Activision tested out the new game on NFL Draft prospects in Las Vegas this week.
The game will be released on multiple platforms.
