Players everywhere watched their Twitch for Overwatch 2 beta code drops on Wednesday, but many were unable to get in causing them to miss the short eight-hour period.
Overwatch League has now vowed to release 1,500 Overwatch 2 beta codes per hour during the opening weekend of season 5 which will run from May 5-8. To be eligible, fans must watch at least one hour of the broadcast beginning at 12 p.m. PT each day, and they will only be eligible to receive a code at the end of the hour they watched. Every hour watched will earn players five League Tokens.
To ensure fans are ready, Overwatch League dropped a statement detailing the rules. To be eligible, players will need to create a Battle.net account and link it to their YouTube. After that, players should watch while signed in with the linked account to earn rewards.
