Crash Team Racing 2019 (Activision)
Crash Bandicoot has been on a roll over the last few years. Starting in 2017 with his re-introduction with N-Sane Collection, the gaming world can’t get enough of Crash. Now, we’re less than a month away from a brand-new installment to the series in Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. But, last year saw the release of the remaster of the 1999 cart-racing classic, Crash Team Racing. After its release, the game received a ton of updates and new content to keep players coming back after its release with many still playing it to this day.
While Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled still has a dedicated community, Beenox, the developers of Nitro-Fueled and the remasters of the first two Modern Warfare games, have announced that there will not be any more updates coming to Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled. On the company’s official Twitter account, Beenox released a statement saying that they are no longer creating content for the Kart-Racing game. “Unfortunately, the March update with the Beenox Pack was our final update to the game, and there is no additional content in the works.”
The company went on to explain that the reason for this was that they are not only aiding Toys For Bob in developing Crash 4, but they’re also working on a few unannounced projects as well. “All current game modes and features for CTR: Nitro-Fueled, including Online Multiplayer, Leaderboards and the Pit Stop, will continue on,” read the statement. “Thank you again from the Bottom of Our Hearts for the love and support for this game.”
