Disney World’s ‘Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser’ Offers $5000 Drink!

Fans are going crazy for Disney World’s newest attraction, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. The new attraction is part of the resort’s Star Wars Day At Sea promotion, for young and old Star Wars fans alike.

The two-night event put passengers in the shoes of your favorite Star Wars characters. Visitors have the option to stay in a cabin or a suite and choose just how immersive they want their galactic experience to be. While on the ship, adventurers can interact with well-known Star Wars characters, get their own lightsabers, face off against training devices and explore the bridge, engineering room and the planet Batuu.

There is also an interesting item on the Starcruisers that has fans and non-fans alike talking. In the Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge customers can purchase a highly-touted drink and hopefully the most expensive drink in the entire galaxy, at $5,000 Kaiburr Crystal drink.

The drink arrives in a Camtono (Star Wars fans will recognize this from The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett) and opens up vertically in a chilled container with a rotary cylindric handle, sort of like how test tubes are stored.

The drinks are not large, however, as they are presented in shot-style glasses, making the expensive drink highly anticipated yet fleeting.

Many people are speculating what could be in the drink to justify the hefty price tag. Many are speculating that the drink is made from Remy Martin Louis XII cognac which goes for about $3,000-$4,000 a bottle. This, or some other top-shelf liquor may have inflated the price.

Only those who have tasted the drink can say if it is truly worth it, however, since the restaurant’s menu on MickeyBlog.com does not list its ingredients.

Visitors should not be swayed by the price tag of one drink, however, as other prices in the lounge are not comparable. Other drinks such as the popular Spire Sunset go for a mere $15.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is turning out to be quite the experience no matter your price range.
