Sometimes you just gotta give the people what they want, and during their virtual EA Play event EA finally did that, declaring that Skate 4 is coming. The announcement simply said that the game was coming.
There was no gameplay footage released and no release date given, but this had fans taking to social media to express their excitement for the game that they have wanted for ten years.
For fans wondering what net console they should get this holiday season, whether that be Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5, it should not matter given that the game is in early development and probably won’t come out at the earliest middle of 2021.
The first two Skate games in the series were immensely popular, and after the ‘underwhelming’ performance of Skate 3 players have been clamoring for Skate 4 for almost a decade. Fans are now getting what they want and hopefully EA can deliver.
