Nintendo loves to drop new trailers and directs out of nowhere. Even when there’s a piece of leaked information, Nintendo will make sure to release it to the public when you least expect it. Recently, Nintendo dropped a new Nintendo Direct Mini to show off some of the third-party games that will arrive on the Nintendo Switch.
The Direct started by giving audiences a new look at the upcoming Bravely Default II. With over 20,000 downloads of the demo released earlier this year, Nintendo announced that the developers had listened to fan-feedback and will implement several changes to the upcoming game, which will launch on February 26, 2021.
One of the bigger announcements was that both Hitman III and Control would be available on the Nintendo Switch, but with a catch. Seeing how the Nintendo Switch is vastly underpowered compared to the PS5 and Xbox Series X, Hitman III and Control will be available via streaming on the Nintendo Switch, meaning that you’ll need an internet connection to play them. While Hitman III will be made available on January 20, 2021, you can play Control on the Switch right now.
The biggest announcement was of the new gameplay for No More Heroes III, which is slated to release in 2021. Along with new footage of Travis Touchdown slaying assassins, it was revealed that the original No More Heroes and its sequel, Desperate Struggles, were now available on the Nintendo Switch for $20 each, featuring HD graphics.
Lastly, Nintendo closed its direct with new gameplay mechanics coming to the upcoming Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and announced that a demo for the game is now available.
