‘Fire Emblem: Three Houses’ Expansion Pack Contains Over 240 Total Hours Of Gameplay

The Nintendo Switch‘s Fire Emblem: Three Houses is getting an immense expansion pack that is reported to have over 200 total hours of full game time to complete it. Three Houses is the latest entry in the acclaimed strategy series made by Nintendo affiliate Intelligent Systems. The series’ typical turn-based combat system will thrive in Three Houses like the earlier Fire Emblem games that were made popular on the Nintendo 3DS.

Nintendo of America announced via Twitter that the standard version of the game and the game that comes with the expansion pack are both available in the Switch eShop for pre-download. The regular version is at a regular retail price of $59.99, while the iteration with the expansion pack is sitting at $84.98.

“Get access to all four waves of DLC as they release, including the Officers Academy outfits for Byleth on Day 1,” Nintendo of America tweeted. “When your journey continues with the #FireEmblem: Three Houses – Expansion Pass!”

There are different breakdowns of each of the expansion packs, with each content pack becoming available in due time after its release date. Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia had that option when the game came out, with all five of the different DLC packs totaling around $50. Three Houses could follow suit for those looking to buy specific expansion packs in the coming future.

Three Houses is reported to have three different endings, which is added onto the total of over 200 hours of game time if you’re a player seeking the different endings. Aiming to procure the three endings can total in over 240 hours, but the main game itself can take more than the earlier reported 200 hours, meaning the three different scenarios will total in 40 more hours of new content you can seek if you choose to buy the expansion pack. According to Game Radar, Three Houses will increase the DLC content in due time, adding four different additions of DLC that will be apart of the game’s expansion pass.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses is set to be released later this month on the Nintendo Switch, set to release on July 26.
