‘Grand Theft Auto V’ – Los Santos Tuners Update Released, Includes New Music

July 20 marked the release of Los Santos Tuners for Grand Theft Auto V. Los Santos Tuners focuses on underground street racing culture and introduces many features such as a new social space called the LS Car Meet.

The LS Car Meet allows players to congregate while they showcase their custom cars, test new cars on a private track, see other players make additions to their vehicles and more. Players will have to pay 50,000 in-game to be able to access exclusive clothing, new racing made, car parts and contacts. This fee will also grant access to the test track, where players can test drive cars before purchasing them. This payment will also allow for players to new races, and a mod shop where they can customize their car or watch others as they do the same. This paywall is not needed to visit the car meet.

The update also adds 10 cars with a wide range of customizable parts, a new property, new contracts and more.

The update will feature Kenny, the alter-ego of Moodyman. Moodyman is an actual DJ who first appeared in the game during the Cayo Perico Heist. Players will have the opportunity to meet Kenny (aka KDJ) and his partner Sessanta at the LS Car Meet. Players will need to purchase a new auto shop property in order to gain contracts from Kenny and Sessanta. These consist of robbing high-profile targets such as Merryweather.

A new mix called “Kenny’s Backyard Boogie Mix” will be featured in the update as well. This is a blend of house, soul, hip hop and other genres with never-before-heard Moodyman tracks. Features will include Channel Tres, Nez featuring Gangsta Boo, Jessie Johnson and more. The mix will be available at the car meet via a media stick from Kenny. This can be added to the in-game radio from this point.

Players can also collect the four Monday Dreamin’ EP’s to receive a new DJ mix of the collection. This will feature new versions of all 20 tracks made for the Los Santos Tuners update. Players will also receive a CircoLoco Tee when they collect these four media sticks.
