Peter Parker Face Change
Over the past few weeks, Sony has been unveiling new pieces of gameplay of the upcoming remastered edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man. While most of the changes have been well-received, one area that has been divisive among fans was the change to Peter Parker’s face. Many have been saying that the new Peter Parker looks too young or bears too much resemblance to the MCU’s Peter Parker, Tom Holland.
Whatever the reason is for your displeasure for the new facial model of Peter Parker for Spider-Man Remastered, one thing that should be obvious to anyone is that you should not ever send threats to the developers. However, a vocal minority of “fans” have done this to Spider-Man‘s creative director Bryan Intihar.
In a post on Twitter, he revealed that a group of individuals has been sending him threats to change Peter’s face back to its original self. “Sending me threatening notes that you will “HUNT YOU DOWN AND WE WILL FIND YOU! YOU FIX THIS NOW!” isn’t cool,” Intihar said in a tweet.
Luckily, many fans and icons in the industry have been showing support for Intihar, including The Last of Us Creative Director Neil Druckman and voice actor Laura Baily, who also received threats earlier this year for The Last of Us Part 2.
Spider-Man: Remastered will arrive on November 12 for those who purchased the Ultimate Edition of Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
