The latest Call Of Duty has drawn mixed reviews among critics.
Fans seem to be disappointed, primarily due to the number of issues with the game.
Infinity Ward is now in the process of playing catchup as they attempt to fix bugs and problems with Modern Warfare‘s multiplayer.
One such fix is focused on an ability in the multiplayer that allows players to see enemies through walls. Using the ping system, players were able to highlight someone for an entire match.
One user shared their frustrations in the comments section of a post on the matter. “Bruh this is a huge bug. I swear I noticed people tracking me through walls, but I didn’t want to be ‘that guy’ so I chalked it up to coincidence. This needs to get fixed ASAP otherwise it’ll become rampant.”
The ping system is not the only issue with Modern Warfare 2. There have been reports of sudden crashes, and problems loading up the game on PC.
A ‘party crashing’ bug has come to be well-known among players. Infinity Ward was quick to fix it though many players found themselves unable to play together upon the game’s release.
Bugs and glitches have been a constant for Call Of Duty, whether that be because of the annual releases leaving short time windows for each game or overlooked issues during development.
Infinity Ward has not commented on the issues with Modern Warfare 2 though it did fix the ping bug as well as provide a day-one patch that helped with multiple problems from the beta.
