‘Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit’ Remastered Announced

Need for Speed is going back in time for this year’s release in the form of a remaster of 2010’s Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. Announced by EA on the official Need For Speed YouTube Channel, the upcoming graphical update to Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit will feature all the games DLC and support cross-play across all platforms, as confirmed in a blog post on EA’s official website.

“We’ve added brand new achievements, car colors, wraps, reduced hard stops, an updated photo mode and gallery, and multiple quality of life updates, too, to create an even more well-rounded gameplay experience this time around,” reads the official blog post on the new additions to the game.

EA has also confirmed resolution and frame-rate on all platforms in their blog post. “Depending on your specifications, 4K/60 FPS is supported on PC, and players can choose between 4K/30 FPS or 1080p/60 FPS on PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X. Base versions of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will run the game at 1080p/30 FPS,” the post read.

The Nintendo Switch version will also run at 1080p 30FPS in docked mode and 720 30FPS while in handheld.

Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered will arrive on PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 6, while the Nintendo Switch version will arrive on November 13.
