Everyone’s favorite archeologist is returning to the world of gaming again. A new Indiana Jones game is in the works from Bethesda and Machine Games, the developers behind the recent Wolfenstein reboot series.
The new game will be an original story and will have Todd Howard as a producer. While a release date or window wasn’t revealed, this newest Indiana Jones game will likely be exclusive to Xbox and PC, seeing how Microsoft purchased Bethesda last year for over $7 billion.
Indiana Jones is no stranger to the world of video games, with the iconic action hero starring in several games throughout his lifespan. From Raiders of The Lost Ark on the Atari 2600 to Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb back on the PS2 and Xbox back in 2003, Dr. Jones has had plenty of digital adventures. The last Indiana Jones game to release on consoles were the LEGO Indiana Jones games in 2008 and 2009.
Look forward to Bethesda’s take on Indiana Jones sometime in the future.
