Nintendo eShop’s New June 15, 2017 Releases

So, what’d you think of Nintendo’s lineup at E3? Overall, my friends and I liked it. Plus, the week is closing off with a strong eShop update.

NINTENDO ESHOP RELEASES – JUNE 15, 2017

ARMS is the next premiere title for the Nintendo Switch. You’ve seen it highlighted in numerous presentations, you tried its Global Testpunch demo and you watched Nintendo’s invitational tournament at E3. Tomorrow, you’ll be able to admire the many elongated, battle-ready limbs. Nintendo seems to have high hopes for their new 3D fighter, so let’s hope ARMS has legs!

Cave Story+ is billed as the “definitive edition” of the side-scrolling classic. Honestly, Cave Story is one of those games you’ve probably already played, but that’s okay! Whether it’s your first time exploring the whimsical domain of the Mimigas or if you’re back to discover its secrets, Cave Story’s quality is timeless. Its latest re-release will launch tomorrow.

MIGHTY GUNVOLT BURST unites Azure Striker Gunvolt’s Gunvolt and Mighty No. 9’s Beck for another round of 2D blasting action. Inti Creates has a lot of experience with this genre, so you know you’re getting a polished title.

Runbow Pocket will bring the side-scroller to the New Nintendo 3DS on June 20. The stages’ colors change as you play, affecting which platforms are usable. There are over 145 levels to roam through, too. Moreover, several cherished indie characters come along for the ride, including Shantae, Shovel Knight and Commander Video.

Here’s everything Nintendo released on the eShop this week:

Nothing listed above catches your attention? Then check out what’s on sale. In honor of the trade-show, a solid assortment of titles are discounted. Personally, I’ve been looking for an excuse to replay Super Metroid. Also, My Nintendo has been updated with two ARMS-themed wallpapers.

I want to be the very best, like no one ever was.
