‘Paper Mario: The Origami King’ To Be Released On Nintendo Switch

Mario is one of the most iconic characters in video game history. Over the years, Nintendo has taken every opportunity possible to use their popular character. Nintendo and Mario are once again expanding, as the company announced that Paper Mario: The Origami King, will be available on the Nintendo Switch in July.

On Thursday, Nintendo announced that Paper Mario will be available for $59.99 on Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite starting July 17 in a trailer video they posted on their YouTube.

This isn’t the first popular game Nintendo has released on the Nintendo Switch, as Animal Crossing: New Horizons has become one of the most popular games during this time of quarantine, selling over 55 million copies, according to Nintendo.

Paper Mario has long been a member of the Mario franchise since being first released on Nintendo 64 back in 2000. The version that will be available on the Switch, players will be able to uncover new locations.
