Nintendo just keeps cranking out great content for its fans and users. This time, Nintendo decided to release an important expansion to their Pokémon games. Now, ‘Pokémon Home’ will allow users of modern poké games to store, trade and organize their Pokémon in the app.
Any pokémon that has appeared in a core series game, will be found on the newly released app. This means that any creature found in Pokémon Bank, Pokémon Sword, Pokémon Shield and even Pokémon Go, will be able to be located within the app’s features. This is a pivotal feature for the ‘Sword & Shield’ series because the games’ current state did not allow players to trade, nor store collected pokémon.
In addition, players will not only be allowed to trade with each-other, but actually trade with themselves, via the poké-cloud. Users can swap around their favorite pokémon from game to game, meaning that users can actually craft their perfect lineup, assuming you’ve actually ‘caught ’em all.’
The app will also let users fill out their own pokédex, which encompasses several regions and distinctive pokémon of the past. Stats and information about which moves a creature can learn, are also included for the user’s benefit.
Professor Oak has also been replaced by a new scientist. He’s been replaced by his in-game cousin, Grand Oak. The biggest difference between the two Oak boys is that Grand Oak wears green sunglasses, and has a mullet that would put a 1990’s Billy Ray Cyrus to shame.
