‘Pokemon Sword & Shield’ DLC News Coming Soon

It seems that we’ll have some news soon about the next piece of DLC from Pokemon: Sword and Shield soon. Recently, Nintendo’s South American YouTube Channel released a trailer for the upcoming Sword and Shield DLC, The Crown of Tundra. The trailer shows off Pokemon in the Tundra region while giving players a look at the different areas you can explore.

It also shows the return of the Legendary Titan trio of Regirock, Regice and Registeel. The original trailer for the DLC revealed two new Pokemon Titans, Regieleki and Regidrago, with Galarian Varients of the Legendary Bird Trio, Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres. While no release date was revealed, The Crown of Tundra DLC currently has a release window of later this year.

To obtain access to The Crown of Tundra, you must have a copy of either Pokemon Sword or Shield and purchase the season pass on the Nintendo Eshop, which is currently available for $29.99. The first piece of DLC to Pokemon: Sword and Shield, Isle of Armor, was released earlier this year on June 27. It saw the return of over 100 fan-favorite Pokemon, including new regional variants of Slowpoke and Slowbro. The Crown of Tundra will also see older Pokemon not seen in Sword and Shield also making a return, while also adding a Galarian variation of Slowking.
