One of the more disappointing bits of news about the upcoming remastered version of 2018’s Spider-Man was the inability to transfer your saved data from the original version released on PS4 to PS5. However, Insomniac Games has decided to rectify this mistake just in time for the launch of the PS5, as the PS5 version of Marvel’s Spider-Man will allow you to transfer your saves from PS4 to the PS5 version of the game later this year.
Insomniac confirmed on Twitter that not only will fans be able to transfer their saved data, but the PS4 version will also get new costumes that were confirmed for the PS5 version via an update for the PS4 version. The suits included are the Arachnid Rider, Armored Advanced Suits and the Amazing Suit from 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man. Sadly, if you already traded your PS4 version of Spider-Man, you won’t have the ability to transfer your old saves.
Spider-Man Remastered is only available with the Ultimate Edition of Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
