‘Total War Saga: Troy’ To Be Released For Free On Epic Games Store

Total War Saga: Troy was first announced for fans of the series last year. On Tuesday, players got more good news regarding the release of the game.

Creative Assembly and Sega, the studios that produce the game, came out and said that Total War Saga: Troy will be released on the Epic Games Store starting August 13. During the first 24 hours following the game’s release, players can download the game for free.

Don’t expect this to be a trend for Creative Assembly or Sega to do exclusive releases on one platform. Both companies have come out and said that this is a unique situation and that they expect the game to be available for purchase on other platforms starting sometime in 2021.

Total War Saga: Troy will take place during Homer’s Iliad. Players will have the opportunity to play as legends like Achilies and Hector. Character choice will dictate how their gameplay experience will unfold.
