On Saturday, Apple added four new games to their Apple arcade service, including surprise game Pilgrims from developer Amanita Design and the early release of The Bradwell Conspiracy.
Pilgrims came out of nowhere as it was announced and released on the same day. Players will have to explore and meet new characters, help them and learn about their stories in this “playful adventure game.”
Another game focused on its story, The Bradwell Conspiracy is a first-person puzzle game. The player is trapped in a hidden complex after an explosion in the Stonehenge Museum. You have to find out the secrets of the complex and escape with the help of another survivor. The game is planned to release on Oct. 8 but was released a little early on Apple Arcade. The game is still set to release on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch.
Redout: Space Assault is a futuristic dogfighting game featuring spaceships that look straight out of Destiny or No Man’s Sky. The game also has a full-career mode with ship upgrades and various ways to control your starfighter. You can kill the engines to slow your speed, making it easier to navigate a small opening. RedOut: Space Assault is also coming to PC, though no release date is listed on Steam.

The last game released on Apple Arcade is Nightmare Farm. From the developers of hit mobile title, Neko Atsume: Kitty Collector comes a “story of a painful nightmare spinning in a bright world.” It’s quite a far cry from what the developers have previously made. Players will have to grow and harvest crops while also preparing meals for visitors to make them happy
While the games released look interesting, Apple has to market them better instead of adding them to the Arcade with no announcement, post or press for the future.
