The new MW2, of course, is not to be confused with a remaster of the same title that launched in 2009.
It is a part of a rebooted series developed again by Infinity Ward.
The first game of the rebooted series Modern Warfare series was released in 2019.
That said, it will be tough to replicate the success of the original MW2, which was given a 9.5 out of 10 by IGN.
The rebooted game is set to release on October 28, 2022.
Those who preorder the game will get early access to the campaign on October 20.
