You Can Meet Detective Pikachu This Year At San Diego Comic-Con

Pokémon Detective Pikachu has enjoyed a successful box office tenure, earning the title of being the highest-grossing video game adaption of all time. The film’s Blu-ray release is drawing nearer too, currently slated to release on July 23. Warner Bros. continues to promote the yellow mascot’s live-action debut, and yesterday the studio announced it will bring Ryme City – Detective Pikachu‘s urban setting – to San Diego Comic-Con.

“Guests will be able to experience the magic of Ryme City in an immersive walkthrough pop-up based on the hit film Pokémon Detective Pikachu with Instagrammable moments including, the neon cityscape, Ryme City marketplace, film prop displays, and an infinity room,” the Warner Bros. press release exclaims. “Fans will have the chance to win prizes and take photos with multiple characters from the film including Detective Pikachu himself!”

If you want to meet one of the world’s greatest sleuths for yourself, you can do so at the Omni Hotel between July 17 and July 21. In addition to Detective Pikachu, Warner Bros. also confirmed Shazam! – the latest superhero in the DC Extended Universe – will make an appearance at the event too.
