‘Fortnite’ Season 3 Delayed… Again

Fortnite Chapter 2 season 3 was originally slated to come out in April, that was pushed back to the end of May. As the end of May approached, it was announced that there would be another delay to the first week of June. On Wednesday, Epic Games announced that there would be a third delay in the release.

The current release date according to Epic Games is June 17, as of now. The reasoning for the delay, Epic said in a statement, is because of “recent events” which “are a heavy reminder of ongoing injustices in society, from the denial of basic human rights to the impact of racism both overt and subtle against people of color.”

Epic was also expected to have an event on May 6, which has since been pushed back to June 15, it is unclear if there will be a change to that event.
