‘Grand Theft Auto 5’ Actors Recreate Famous Scene

Over the last few months, a certain scene from Grand Theft Auto 5 has been making the rounds across the internet. The scene in question comes right after the game’s first mission, which sees Lamar roasting Franklin, one of the game’s three main protagonists, after denying Lamar’s request to stay over at his place.

The scene has become a meme with Modder replacing Lamar with other beloved characters, like SpongeBob, Kermit the Frog, Vegeta, and even other characters from the Grand Theft Auto series. You can check out some examples in the video above.

Recently, the actors behind Lamar and Franklin, Slink Johnson (Black Jesus) and Shawn Fonteno have recreated the now-iconic scene in real life via a video on YouTube Channel PlayStation Haven. Be warned that the video contains some NSFW content, including many f-bombs and the N-word, especially at the end.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. A PS5 and Xbox Series X version of the game is due out sometime in 2021 that will be free for owners of the Last-Gen versions.
