Season Eleven Of ‘Fortnite’ Launched: Dubbed ‘Fortnite’ Chapter Two

Fortnite‘s Season 10 ended in a way nobody saw coming. Instead of moving onto Season 11, the game was unplayable and the island was seemingly destroyed. The only thing left was a motionless black hole that was live on multiple streaming sites for days. On Sunday evening, a record-breaking six million people tuned in on YouTube, Twitch, Mixer and more to view the end of the virtual world players spent so long in.

“The End” had players thinking the event, whatever it entailed, would simply conclude with the introduction of Fortnite Season 11.

Instead of just a clever way to end the tenth season of new rewards, skins, items and challenges for players, the revival brought a new era for the game. It is now the event that has gained massive popularity over the time the game was gone: Fortnite Chapter Two.

During the outage, if you tried to log in to Fortnite, you were sent to a blank screen that resembled a black hole. There were no play options or way to access player accounts. The game had vanished for many prompting worry from the playerbase on what exactly was going on.

The social media accounts gave no solace either as only a black hole was being livestreamed on Twitter instead of any updates. As players waited impatiently for answers, Epic Games remained silent, building up suspense that finally came to a head on Tuesday.

Chapter Two of Fortnite brought the game back with a new look, as the old map has been replaced by one more in tune with the wilderness. The map features more frests and rolling hills throughout the area and several rivers that can be crossed using newly added boats. Many things have scaled back, such as weapons that can be upgraded at workbenches, to make the game feel more primitively wilderness based.

There’s also a new battle pass that will give players access to new skins and other customizations if you pay a little extra.

Epic Games has shown with the excitement that surrounded Chapter Two, Fortnite will stay one of the most popular games for a long time, as long as it keeps staying fresh for fans.
