If you’re planning on buying a physical copy of Super Mario 3D All-Stars, you may have to prepare to fight an uphill battle. Just about every major outlet has officially sold out on physical copies of Super Mario 3D All-Stars. The HD collection of Super Mario 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy was first announced earlier this month as part of Nintendo’s special Direct that focused on the 35th Anniversary of Super Mario Brothers. While you’ll still be able to purchase a digital copy at launch, retailers like GameStop, Target, Walmart and Amazon are no longer accepting pre-orders of Super Mario 3D All-Stars. Currently, the only store that is taking any pre-order of 3D All-Stars is Best Buy.
Super Mario 3D All-Stars is currently scheduled for a limited release starting on September 18 and end sometime in late-March 2021, for both physical and digital versions of the compilation. The game will feature three of Mario’s best 3D adventures with improved graphics and resolution, new joy-con and touchscreen support for Super Mario Galaxy, and 16:9 support for Super Mario Sunshine and Galaxy. The game will also come with a music player, allowing you to listen to some of your favorite tracks from all three games included in the package.
