Microsoft is attacking a new market with their brand: Xbox body wash. As shocking as it may be, Microsoft is planning to release their new brand, announcing it during their E3 panel. The official line is called Lynx Xbox. But what does it smell like?
According to its official description, “Lynx Xbox is a fresh scent of pulsing green citrus, featuring top notes of kaffir lime and winter lemon, aromatic herbal middle notes of mint and sage, and woody bottom notes of patchouli and clearwood. Containing a range of natural essential oils, the Xbox Lynx range comes with a sleek new look and features a body spray, deodorant, and shower gel,” Gamespot reported.
The product will be available in July, releasing in just New Zealand and Australia. There is no official news on the product hitting others countries in the near future.
“We see Xbox fans achieve incredible things every day, and we wanted to celebrate that elevated skill, passion and determination by creating something truly special,” said the business lead for Xbox, Tania Chee, according to the Verge. “Now, powering up can be as simple as a quick spray before you head out the door.”
While Sony is rumored to be announcing their new console Playstation 5, Microsoft has unquestionably thrown Sony and the rest of the E3 panels for a loop. There are certainly no other competitors in their way on this one.
The creator of the Xbox, Seamus Blackley didn’t seem to happy about the new announcement, saying via Twitter, “I seriously and honestly have no comment. I have no idea what a comment would even be on this. I’m frankly thinking of just going and drinking heavily at this point,” Gamespot reported.
Xbox’s Microsoft has officially partnered with Axe, and Microsoft has started to show their interest in pushing their brand to more and more lifestyle products such as clothes and special designed furniture.
