Fans of the Lunar series can now get the franchise remakes. Return to The Blue Star with your favorite heroes and relive the stories from beginning to end with updated graphics and voices.

The remakes include Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete. The developers brought back older-era art to make it available for all. The Lunar game series was ahead of its time and one of the classics in pixel art gaming.

The updates help bring a bygone era back into the present. The remaster allows fans to play old-guard games with their parents, friends and siblings. The Sony September 2024 State of Play allowed fans to witness early-age anime styles. Furthermore, the new Lunar game offers players new languages like French and German to listen to during gameplay and the ability to use old graphics if they dislike the new ones.

In addition to the new graphics and add-ons, players can see updated animated sequences. Plus, they can speed up gameplay and use new mechanics. The toggle addition should speed up battles considerably. Plus, who hasn’t missed that classic guy who meets an immortalized girl and goes on a quest where he falls in love? If that wasn’t enough for you, how about meeting an actual dragon? The series boasts four dragons who help their ruling goddess. What’s not to love?

Pick up the Lunar Remastered Collection now. The series is playable on PS5, Switch, Xbox and PC.

The publisher receives a commission for links in this post.
