‘Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’ Drops Soon, How To Pre-Order

The newest Call of Duty game is just on the horizon with developer Infinity Ward finally confirming the release date for the newest installment in the best-selling series. In an announcement blog this week on Call of Duty‘s website, the company detailed that the newest game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, will release on October 28.

> PRE-ORDER ‘COD: MODERN WARFARE 2’ NOW!

This new game will mark a new era of Call of Duty. According to the site, Call of Duty is taking a generational leap forward, ushering in a new era — and it all begins with Modern Warfare II, which leads the most ambitious rollout ever across the franchise. This state-of-the-art experience is set to reshape the famed series and appeal to COD players everywhere. This is the sequel to the 2019 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare game and the developers are putting a breath of fresh air into the new campaign.

Along with the announcement, pre-orders for the game were released allowing players to pre-order their COD experience in different bundles and experiences around different websites. According to the studio, physical bundles will be available for pre-order at Amazon and Target while digital preorders will be available on the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store and Steam. As in the past, pre-ordering the game will net players exclusive bonuses, however, details on the potential benefits have not been announced as of yet.

There will also be a number of bundles that you will be able to purchase at varying price tags. The MW2 Cross-Gun Bundle will be available for $70, this is unfortunate as this means that cross-men play will only be available with this bundle. The “Vault Edition” bundle will be available for $100, with this version netting you a cross-gun version of the game, early access to the open beta, and a ton of in-game goodies.

Aside from the trailer and announcement blog post, there is not much that has been revealed about the game, but there is surely more to come as we get closer to the October 28 release date.
