'Kerbal Space Program 2' Release Pushed Back To Fall 2021 Due To COVID-19

Kerbal Space Program 2 was originally scheduled to be released in March of this year when the game was announced in 2019. Then it was pushed back to sometime between April 2020 and March 2021. In a tweet posted by the game’s Twitter account, the developer announced that the release of the game will now come in the fall of 2021.

In the tweet, the game’s development team said that the main reason for the delay in release is due to the coronavirus pandemic. “We are making a big, expansive game loaded with new features, but doing so will take longer than we previously anticipated. With everything going on in the world today due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we’re facing many unique challenges that require more time to safely iterate, create, test, and make KSP2 as great as it can be.”

The original Kerbal Space Program came out in 2015 and gained popularity amongst fans. For those wanting to get their Kerbal Space Program fix in, the original is available on Stream and can be played on Windows, PS4 and Xbox One.
