The ninth and newest installment of the Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil Requiem, has now become available for pre-order for all new-generation consoles, and with this announcement came the news of many exclusive additions for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game.

Nintendo is offering a Resident Evil Generation Pack for purchase, which includes Resident Evil Requiem along with the Gold Editions of the seventh and eighth mainline games in the franchise, Resident Evil 7 biohazard and Resident Evil Village, respectively. The Gold Editions include all DLC released for the games, and the Resident Evil Generation Pack is available for $89.99.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is also showcasing its first-ever amiibo for the Resident Evil franchise in the form of Grace Ashcroft, the game’s protagonist. It will be available in the summer of 2026. The final Nintendo exclusive for the new game is a Resident Evil Requiem-themed Pro Controller, priced at $99.99. It will be made available for purchase alongside the game on February 27, 2026.

These are not the only bonuses fans can get for Resident Evil Requiem, however. Many other features will be made available for all consoles. Simply preordering the game will earn players the “Apocalypse” costume for Grace, which replicates the outfit worn by the protagonist in the 2004 movie, Resident Evil: Apocalypse. There will also be a deluxe edition of the game, priced at $79.99. This edition has been confirmed to come with five costumes, one of which is a Lady Dimitrescu costume for Grace. Additionally, it includes an audio pack of Raccoon City Classic and new files featuring letters from 1998. The deluxe edition also features four weapon skins, one confirmed to be titled “S&S M232 Weapon Skin: Apocalypse.”

There will also be two charms, including a Mr. Raccoon Charm, and two filters, including an “Apocalypse” filter that gives the world a cooler tone. For an additional $10, fans can purchase the Steelbook Deluxe Edition, which contains everything in the Deluxe Edition, as well as a premium Steelbook case and a limited-edition lenticular card. All these different variations of the game will be available on the game’s launch day of February 27, 2026.
