Are you ready, football kids? Everyone’s favorite undersea sponge and his friends are coming to the world of Madden in an update that now features your favorite football teams dressing up as your favorite SpongeBob characters. The update also features a new play field inspired by the show, called SpongeBob Reef-Top, that is only available in Madden 2021‘s “The Yard” Mode. Reef-Top will have additional challenges that will grant players cosmetic for their favorite football stars based on characters from the show.

Madden 2021 is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with a release on Google Stadia release arriving sometime in 2021.

The most recent SpongeBob game, Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated, is available for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
