Animal Crossing: New Horizons is coming to life in aquariums all across the United States in 2026. Animal Crossing Aquarium Tours will be emerging at new and returning aquariums throughout the year.

This aquarium experience mixes real marine life with the incredible game of Animal Crossing. According to the Georgia Aquarium, “Each aquarium on the tour will host themed activities and offer guests the chance to explore the wonders of aquatic life with an Animal Crossing: New Horizons twist.”

Fans will get to meet and greet their favorite characters from the game, including Tom Nook, K.K. Slider, and Isabelle. Animal Crossing-themed decorations create a family-friendly experience that lets people enjoy marine life, as they do in their museum back on their virtual island.

The tour will be hitting ten U.S. cities in 2026, with some big stops such as SEA LIFE Orlando, Birch Aquarium in San Diego, SEA LIFE Arizona in Tempe, and SEA LIFE at the Mall of America.

Every stop will go for several weeks, giving fans enough time to plan a trip to the aquarium, so fans shouldn’t worry about missing out on any of the fun. You don’t have to purchase anything other than a standard admission ticket to experience the Animal Crossing activities, as there is no special pass or ticket required. Fans can check Nintendo’s event page for the full schedule and dates.

Fans will be able to participate in a themed Stamp Rally on certain days, where they must collect stamps by tracking down locations where characters appear. Combining education, photo activities, and gameplay, the Animal Crossing Aquarium Tour transforms an aquarium visit into an enjoyable crossover between gameplay and reality – perfect for both longtime island residents and those just interested in trying it.
