Dungeons & Dragons fans must find a new game after February as D&D: Dark Alliance makes its way to the gaming graveyard.
Steam updated the game’s page, saying it will no longer keep its online servers running. However, if you owned the game before the shutdown, you can keep it. It won’t be in stores after Feb. 25.
Dark Alliance came out in June 2021, leaving a trail of disappointment. It was panned by both players and critics alike. The title has suffered from many complaints of bugs and glitches from players. It was marketed as a hack-and-slash adventure, but instead, the public hacked and slashed it to bits.
Players can expect more from the same company that made the game, Invoke Studios (formerly Tuque Games), which revealed they’d been working on more D&D content.
