If you’ve yet to acquire a Nintendo Switch of your own, then you might want to start planning a trip next month. On September 8, Walmart will exclusively score a new Splatoon 2-themed hardware bundle.

SPLATOON 2 NINTENDO SWITCH BUNDLE ANNOUNCED

$379.99 is the suggested retail price. The two Joy-Con controllers will bear new Neon Pink and Neon Green colorations in reference to Splatoon 2’s color pallet. Likewise, a carrying case modeled after Nintendo’s premiere squids will also be included. However, prospective buyers should note that they will obtain a digital code to download Splatoon 2, not a physical copy of the third-person shooter.

Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales, Doug Bowser, has aired his enthusiasm for the value offered by this package:

“Consumers in Japan and Europe have already had a strong response to Splatoon 2 bundles in their territories. This exclusive Walmart bundle gives people who have been waiting to buy a Nintendo Switch a great value and incentive to get splatting.”

Splatoon 2 was released on July 21. It’s still receiving regular updates from Nintendo, and a new “Splatfest” online event is slated for September 1 through September 2. Needless to say, Splatoon 2 will remain a fixture in the Switch’s library for a long time.
