We’ve all heard the memes ranging from, “Don’t play League of Legends if you like Arcane,” “I won’t play League of Legends,” and “I don’t care if the show is good, I’m not playing League of Legends.” The list goes on.

Brace for a new onslaught of memes and music as Netflix released the season 2 trailer for Arcane. The company continues to adapt video game franchises into TV shows and movies. Let’s hope they keep their eyes off The Legend of Zelda franchise because I, like many other fans, do not believe in Link being able to speak. Halloween is over, so let’s not raise the monsters of the past from their graves.

War still rages on in Arcane as Jinx, Vi and company return to screens across the globe from Netflix’s coming soon section. While Arcane’s first and second half is ready to watch, fans will have to wait until Nov. 23 to finish the entire season. In a not-so-surprising twist of fate, Netflix kept to the standard of two or more release dates. Netflix carried through with a three-part release on other titles like Rebel One.

Despite the obvious signs that most of these characters need therapy and ethics lessons, the all-over tone of the first season carries forward with current events as Plitover and Zaun’s citizens are battling it out for dominance. With the first season ending with a literal bang, no, really, Jinx fired a rocket into the council’s offices. Fans have seen both sisters and the other characters suffer through the days.

Season one gave fans songs from Imagine Dragons, NewJeans and Mako. Season two promises songs from artists like Stray Kids, Twenty One Pilots, Woodkid and d4vd.

While the beginning of season two leaves fans at the exact place it originally ended, the rest of the season promises more intense actions as the bonds and roles between characters shift. With each trailer comes more insight as the cities heat up with rising tensions.

Netflix’s Arcane part III trailer raises questions about whether Vi and Jinx will recover from the rift they created so many years ago as Plitover starts gearing up for a war between factions.

Don’t miss it as Hailee Steinfield returns to the screen as Vi, Ella Purnell as Jinx, Katie Leung as Caitlyn,  Amira Vannas Seviko, Reed Shannon as Ekko, Mick Winger as Heimerdinger, Brett Tucker as Singed, and Ellen Thomas as Ambessa. Plus, with the additions of some new faces, you’ll never know what comes next.
