Players who like playing Cyberpunk 2077 will have an opportunity to play within this genre now due to the release of a new cyberpunk-themed game titled “D1AL-ologue.”

It was launched as a free game on Steam for all PC users on Feb. 5. This game is located in a futuristic district named “Chroma City,” which features endless gray nights and endless daylight. The gameplay is not based on standard battle techniques; instead, it will focus on the player solving a repair puzzle and reading a text-based story, so players can enjoy a more small-scale experience of what players of cyberpunk games typically see.

Instead of traditional combat, the game uses both cozy, text‑driven storytelling and a strategic repair‑puzzle system to provide a smaller-scale experience than fans of cyberpunk worlds are used to.

Developed by independent developer CherryPicker and published by Jungle Game Lab, “D1AL-ologue” puts the player in the role of Chris, a repairman who runs a clinic for androids, referred to as electronic vital entities (E.V.E.s). During every shift, you will be sitting at an older-model diagnostic console named the D1AL and using a circular interface to align colored modules to synthesize the correct parts for each customer.

Your objective is to fix the customers’ bodies and hearts without overheating the device and spreading dangerous electronic narcotics through overloaded units.

Users on Steam have been very complimentary about the game, currently at a 95% positive rating based on hundreds of reviews, which qualifies as “overwhelmingly positive” on the platform.

Players have praised the game’s retro‑inspired pixel-art style, cozy tone, and short yet impactful character stories. Similar to other narrative favorites such as VA-11 Hall-A and Coffee Talk, the story unfolds in a cyberpunk clinic rather than a bar.

If you have a Steam account, you can download and keep D1AL-ologue for free. There are no microtransactions, and it is not a time-limited promotion. For fans of cyberpunk aesthetics and low-pressure puzzle games, D1AL-ogue is an easy free download that showcases how small games can still stand out in a crowded genre.
