After CD PROJEKT RED was supposedly done with Cyberpunk 2077, fans were surprised to see the official Cyberpunk 2077 X account post an announcement regarding a new development in the Cyberpunk franchise.

Fans expressed their excitement on X, one user commenting on the official post, “CARD GAME? You always find a way to reel me back into Cyberpunk,” along with, “Omg I can’t believe this is actually real! I love card games.”

Cyberpunk Legends: Into the Night is a tabletop game that differs from the original Cyberpunk tabletop games. CD PROJEKT RED is promoting Cyberpunk Legends: Into the Night as an “Anytime, Anywhere Game.”

On the official website, it states, “NO lengthy rules, NO pre-writing or character sheets, NO dice. Just cards plus your friends. Experience an RPG-like experience with strategic narrative choices and novel mechanics right out of the box: Zero prep, zero DM. Open the box and get to the action from session one, with simple mechanics that take just 5 minutes to learn.”

About The Game

The base set box includes over 300 cards with three scenario decks, Story, Encounter, and Obstacle, for players to create unique stories. While each set has its own story, playable on its own, all sets are connected by an overarching narrative that players can also tap into.

The sets come with four Character class decks: Nomad, Netrunner, Solo and Rocker Player cards, as well as character avatar cards. Health, Damage and Leader tokens are also included.

Night Crew Games, a tabletop game developer for Cyberpunk Legends: Into The Night, notes the quality production and design of the game, affirming on their website, “Gorgeous illustrations commissioned from dozens of global artists…NOT AI. Cyberpunk like you’ve never seen it before. Thick cards that resist warping. Premium production and printing, with gloss and foil details on select cards. A box designed to save your game so it’s easy to pick up where you last left off. A stunning addition to your game collection.”

Players can sign up for game updates via email on the official website.
