BARCELONA, SPAIN - AUGUST 13: Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid reacts during the Supercopa de Espana Supercopa Final 1st Leg match between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid at Camp Nou on August 13, 2017 in Barcelona, Spain.

He may be one of the most well-known soccer players in the world, but EA has apparently joined fans in viewing star player Cristiano Ronaldo‘s skills a little lower than they once did.

The FIFA 23 leaks revealed numerous things, including the soundtrack and third kits for some teams. The leak most FIFA players looked for, however, was the FIFA Ultimate Team rankings to get a jumpstart on planning out their teams when the game drops in a few weeks.

Fans shared their excitement on Twitter.

Ronaldo, who is now 37 years old, sees his rating drop from 87 to 81 pace. His overall ranking is still high only dipping one point from 91.

Ronaldo relocated back to Premier League club Manchester in 2021 and scored 18 goals in 30 matches over the season in comparison to the 29 and 30 goals in 33 matches the two seasons prior for Juventus.

On the production side, the leaks revealed the soundtrack will feature big names such as Odesza, Bad Bunny and M.I.A.

It’s still unclear how the leak happened, and will likely negatively impact EA’s marketing strategy for the game as they normally draw out releases on social media.

FIFA 23 will be released on September 27 for most consoles including the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
