The highly anticipated sequel of Death Stranding, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, is set to be released on June 26 on PlayStation 5. Almost six years since the original, fans can hardly wait to embark on more adventures through the action-adventure, post-apocalyptic game.
Early access will be available with the Collector’s Edition or the Digital Deluxe Edition.
After creating and developing Death Stranding 2: On The Beach for around three years, developers at Kojima Productions are ready to take a well-deserved break. However, the founder, director, and CEO of Kojima Productions, Hideo Kojima, is far from done. On his radio show, KOJ10, Kojima stated, “Everyone dislikes it when I submit the project plans at this point in time. They are like ‘Huh?, I thought you were taking a break. But you’re talking about the next one.”
Kojima has already teased two new games. OD, an Xbox Studios horror game, along with Physint (unofficial title), an action-espionage game in partnership with SONY.
Fans have noticed Kojima’s non-stop drive, commenting on the trailer, “I have to respect Hideo Kojima for making Death Stranding 2: On the Beach game, a movie and even anime too, this guy dosen’t know when to stop and he’s 61 years old guy, damn Kojima’s need to be one of the greatest video game boss/maker of all time!”
DEATH STRANDING 2: Gameplay
In Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, users will play as the protagonist, Sam Bridges. Embarking on an action-filled adventure to extend the Chiral network to the south, the importance is highlighted through this statement: “Our last, best hope at saving the world.”
Players will have to navigate tough terrain as well as spontaneous natural disasters and enemies, while lugging important cargo.
Fans are appreciative of developers for continuing with Death Stranding‘s original plot. A YouTube user commented, “I LOVE THAT DS2 IS MADE FOR THE PEOPLE WHO LOVED THE ORIGINAL AND NOT A CROWDPLEASER SEQUEL. I LOVE WEIRD AND INTERESTING GAMES”.
